Every year, Owensville National Honor Society (NHS) raises money for the American Cancer Society. Once every quarter, the NHS members will bring in baked goods to sell during lunch periods. The first Pink Tuesday was Oct. 7 for the 2025-26 school year.
Speaking with NHS President, Hannh Gehlert, “Pink Tuesday is a great opportunity for NHS to support people who need it, which is what the club is about! It’s important to live by this standard. As 1 John 3:17-18 says ‘But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?’”
